Peaceful nights, gentle support

The night can feel long and worrying, both for people who need support after dark and for the families who care about them. Our night care service brings a calm, dependable presence into the home overnight, so your loved one is never left to face the night alone. Night care can be right for people who wake frequently, who need help with toileting or repositioning, who feel anxious after dark, or who are recovering from illness. It also gives family carers the chance to rest, knowing someone caring is there.

Your overnight support is agreed with you and can include:

  • Help settling comfortably into bed and getting up in the morning
  • Support with toileting and continence overnight
  • Repositioning and comfort where needed, within training
  • Reassurance for people who feel anxious or disoriented at night

We will describe the overnight arrangement we can provide and how it is staffed, so expectations are always accurate.

Choosing the right kind of night care

Waking nights

A carer stays awake throughout the night, on hand to provide support whenever it is needed. Ideal for people who wake often or need regular help overnight.

Sleeping nights

A carer sleeps in the home and is there to help if needed during the night. Ideal for people who mostly sleep well but want the reassurance of someone close by.

We will help you decide which option best suits your needs during your free assessment.

Rest easy, knowing someone is there

Caring for a loved one around the clock is exhausting, and disturbed nights take their toll. Night care lets family carers finally get the rest they need, confident that their loved one is safe and supported. With a dependable carer on hand overnight, small worries do not turn into emergencies, and everyone wakes better for it.
